Itinerary Highlights

Day 1: Tanga – Amboni Caves – Magoroto Forest Estate

Morning: Pick-up in Tanga and guided tour of the legendary Amboni Caves – Tanzania’s largest limestone cave system.
Midday: Scenic drive to Magoroto Forest Estate. Enjoy a picnic lunch upon arrival.
Afternoon: Explore the forest, swim in the crater lake, or relax in a hammock surrounded by nature.
Evening: Bonfire dinner and overnight stay in cozy forest cottages or tents.

Day 2: Magoroto – Lushoto Highlands

Morning: Depart for Lushoto, located in the Usambara Mountains.
Midday: Visit Irente Viewpoint for breathtaking views and lunch at Irente Farm.
Afternoon: Guided hike through surrounding villages, waterfalls, or botanical sites.
Evening: Check-in and overnight at a guesthouse or eco-lodge in Lushoto.

Day 3: Lushoto – Mkomazi National Park – Departure

Early morning: Drive to Mkomazi National Park for a half-day game drive.
Explore this dry savannah park known for its black rhino sanctuary, African wild dogs, elephants, giraffes, and diverse birdlife.
Midday: Picnic lunch inside the park or en route.
Afternoon: Begin return journey to Tanga or continue onward travel.
