Itinerary Highlights

Day 1: Arrival & Rufiji River Boat Safari

Arrival at the park via road or charter flight (Dar es Salaam to Mtemere Gate)
Check in at your lodge/camp and freshen up
Evening boat safari on the Rufiji River – spot hippos, crocodiles, birds, and elephants coming to drink
Enjoy sunset views from the river
Dinner and overnight at a riverside lodge or tented camp

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Selous (Nyerere NP)

Early breakfast and full-day game drive with packed lunch
Explore vast landscapes with opportunities to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and more
Picnic lunch inside the park
Late afternoon return to camp for leisure and campfire dinner
Overnight stay at the lodge or tented camp

Day 3: Guided Walking Safari & Departure

Early morning walking safari with an armed ranger and local guide
Learn about animal tracks, medicinal plants, and bush survival skills
Return to camp for breakfast
Check out and transfer to the departure point (airstrip or drive back to Dar es Salaam)
